Terms of Service

World Health Meter, established in 2021, provides cross-border epidemiological data aggregation for researchers, journalists, and policy advocates globally. This document outlines key terms governing user accounts, content, and data handling.

  1. Account Termination: Accounts may be suspended or terminated for violations of these Terms, including but not limited to sharing non-consensual data, spamming, or breaching data privacy laws. Users notified of termination will receive a 14-day notice period, after which access will be revoked. Appeals must be submitted via the Contact Us page.
  2. Content Removal: Users may request removal of their content through the Contact Us page, which will be reviewed within 7 business days. Automated systems will remove content violating local or international laws (e.g., hate speech, illegal health claims). Content flagged for inaccuracy will be re-evaluated by curators before retention or deletion.
  3. Data Handling: All user data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Aggregated data is anonymized and used solely for dashboard insights, with no individual identification. Users may access, correct, or delete their data via the account settings. Data may be transferred to third parties only with explicit consent or as required by law.

We prioritize transparency in data workflows, ensuring compliance with international standards including GDPR and HIPAA where applicable. Our systems are designed to withstand urgent public health crises, maintaining data integrity without compromising user rights.

For unresolved disputes or further inquiries, please refer to the Contact Us page. World Health Meter remains committed to fostering a secure, collaborative environment for global health analysis.
